During this refit a full paint job was carried out, teak decks were completely replaced and major mechanical works were completed. These major works included the dismantling and reinstallation of the canting keel and bulb system. This system was designed with two large hydraulic pistons positioned in each side of the yacht which pushed the keel head for the complete keel and bulb system to be positioned at a certain angle for an improved sailing performance. A custom-made cradle system was designed and manufactured to remove the keel and bulb. All components were shipped to the manufacturer for a complete overhaul and were reinstalled upon return to the yard.
General mechanical works were also completed during this refit period.
