Upon contract signing the preliminary general arrangement used for signing was further developed, together with De Voogt, and all Naval Architecture aspects were studied and defined including: weight estimations, propulsion and maneuvering systems, intact and damage stability. The structural designed was engineering in order to start the production at Royal Van Lent.
