“I started from scratch. At the age of 14, I was already working on the repair yards from where I sailed and then went to Scotland to study shipbuilding. From there, I started to work on Dutch new building yards and international design and engineering offices. For 10 years, I support the shipping companies, setting it represent in realizing their new yachts or finer repairs. I was always in contact with the yacht world and five years ago I founded the lddes Yachts studio based in Palma, which offers international engineering and design. And now that I have acquired a deep knowledge of how ships are built, the problems that can occur in construction and shipping yards. merge this knowledge to the design in order to create value and realize new projects in the studio, along with the team, which included Joan Gelabert, also a naval architect and designer, and architect Andrea Polato include that will help a portfolio unique to develop projects both for themselves and on request of the shipowner future”
HOP measures 120 meters, «but I’ve tried the displacement (weight) to the maximum to reduce (between 40 and 50% less) to integrate an electric drive and the possibility that the yacht can circumnavigate the world by charges in the marinas.I opted for an «extension» to increase the efficiency in hydrodynamics. I want every room offers the opportunity to design thanks to experience a unique experience».
